What labour card registration covers
The labour card is your company’s registration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), the mainland counterpart to the GDRFA establishment card. Both are required together to sponsor a mainland employee’s visa. Missing either one stalls the whole process.
Each employee also needs an individual labour contract registered against this card, which is what MOHRE checks during any wage or labour dispute review.
